I was a struggling Registered Holistic Nutritionist, working at a bank and taking clients at night.

Every single day, when my banking clients asked what my background was, I would tell them “I have a geophysics degree and am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist”, and they would say “then why do you work here?”.

Answer: because I couldn’t figure it out … until I got help.

I couldn’t help myself because I didn’t know how.

It wasn’t until I hired my first business coach in 2011 that I heard anything about picking a niche market, and I didn’t know how to market myself online until I took Marie Forleo’s B-School in 2013.

What do I get during our biz strategy session?

It actually starts before our session together. You’re going to get a questionnaire to fill out so that I have an idea of where you’re starting and what your biz already looks like. The more in-depth you can fill it out, the better I’ll be prepared for our call so that we can hit the ground running and squeeze every ounce of productivity out of that 60 minutes as possible. After, you’ll get a summary of your plan going forward, and depending on what form of communication you choose (see next Q), a video recording of the call.

I don't live close to you, how can we meet?

You can choose to have your biz strategy session by old-fashioned phone, Skype OR a Google Hangout. If you choose Google Hangout, it will be recorded (pending on the technology gods), and I’ll provide you with the link so you can see it forever and ever. Amen.


What kind of topics could we cover?

It’s pretty much fair game that we can cover anything concerning your in-person and local practice OR your online happenings. Over the past 7 years of being in business, I’m confident that I’ve covered 99% of issues that a holistic health practitioner might come up against in their business. Topics could include (but aren’t limited to):
- setting up a website, blog, or newsletter software
- blog topics and editorial calendars
- how to write authentically and non-salesy but still make revenue
- developing your signature online program (including the tech side of it)
- branding and graphic design
- growing your social media following
- designing your signature 1-1 program


What happens after I pay?

After your non-refundable payment is completed, you’ll receive a link to my calendar so you can choose the best time that fits your schedule. Appointments are available on Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST). I can’t stress that this is first come, first served, so if the time you want is taken, you can choose to book the next month. The appointment must be booked within 60 days of payment. Once the appointment is booked, you’ll get a confirmation e-mail and a link to download the questionnaire to get ready for our jam-packed hour together. You’ll be responsible for returning that questionnaire to me at least 48 hours before our session, and then all you have to do is show up at the unique link that I’ll provide to you (if you choose a recorded Google Hangout), be on the phone (I'll call you), or on Skype at our scheduled time.


What’s a Biz Strategy Session like? i.e. my style

When I coach my clients in a 6-month health plan, my intake form includes one question on how they want to be coached: hitler style or loving friend style. But you know what they always get? A no BS approach, because I tell it like it is. I’m not going to shoot rainbows and unicorns up your ass to make you feel better, I’m going to tell you the truth … in a compassionate way. I may cry if you're telling me about your secret fears, and I’ll most certainly swear at some point during our hour together. I won’t swear at you, of course, it’s just that when I feel passionately about something, which I definitely do about business, swear words inevitably come out of my mouth.

If you are easily offended by the F word, I’m not your girl. To get an idea of how I talk, just read a few of my blog posts. What I write is exactly how I talk.

How can I get the most out of our Biz Strategy Session?

Make sure that you fill out the questionnaire as thoroughly as possible before we meet. The more I know, the more I can help you, and won’t have to waste time during our precious hour together getting more info. During the 60 minutes, turn off all social media, phones, Apple watch, carrier pigeon, whatever could possibly distract you. If you’re a work-at-home mom, try and get child-care during that hour … or at least drug your child with Gravol and sit them in front of Netflix. Surely, I’m kidding. Kind of. The point is, I’ll be fully present with you, and you’ll get the best results if you’re fully present with me.

Are results guaranteed?

I personally promise that you’ll have some sort of business growth from our session together. Whether it be more followers on social media, more newsletter sign-ups, or more sales (hopefully all 3), you’ll have some sort of measurable result, BUT ONLY IF YOU TAKE ACTION. If you don’t do anything we design as your unique biz plan, then of course you probably won’t get any results! If that sounds like something you would do, then don’t waste the money.

 I’ve paid anywhere from $2,249 to $5,000 for 6 months of business coaching (and the first price was only for 15 minutes a month with that particular coach!).
