HOW IT WORKS

book your week

Fill out the application form at the bottom. If we’re a good fit, you’ll be invited to book your design week and place a 50% deposit to hold your spot.

collect your assets

Complete your intake questionnaire 1 week prior to your design week. You’ll share your brand colours, fonts and photos, plus the website copy.

the magic happenS!

During your design week, you’ll get daily updates. On Friday, your new website will go live (huzzah!), and you’ll receive a complete walk-through.

 
 

This is for you if:

  • You want to take your online business to the next level, but aren’t ready for the 5-figure investment it’ll cost for a custom website.

  • You want a website that has a few custom tweaks that differentiates it from everyone else’s.

  • You want an experienced professional to take the wheel so you don’t have to feel so alone in the complicated website design process.

 

APPLY FOR A ONE WEEK WEBSITE:

 
 
 

  • I use Squarespace, the most powerful drag and drop website building software for online businesses. Specifically, I use the newest version of Squarespace, which is 7.1.

    In using this software, you'll be able to easily update your website yourself after it's set up, which will not only save you money, but will also make you feel just as empowered as when you find the perfect pair of jeans.

  • You can pay for Squarespace on either an annual or monthly plan. The annual plans start as low as $16 US per month (and include a free domain name!), and if you pay monthly it starts at $23 US per month.

    The website templates I install use custom code, so you'll need to be on the Business plan or higher for the website to look the way it was designed. The business plan or above starts at $23 US per month.

  • The only other required cost is your domain name. If you choose to pay for your Squarespace plan on an annual basis, your domain name will be free for the first year.

    Otherwise, you can purchase an affordable domain name for as little as $20 per year.

  • Nope! I can help you set up your domain name if you don't already have one.

  • Awesome! If your domain name is already with Squarespace, we'll simply connect your new website to it at the end of the week.

    If it's with another company (like GoDaddy), I'll connect it for you, so there's no need for you to know any hard core tech.

  • After your application has been approved, you'll be invited to book your preferred Template Restyle week and pay a 50% deposit.

    At the end of the week, you'll be sent an invoice for the remaining 50% of payment, and after it's completed, the finished website will be transferred to you.

  • At this time, I'm booked within 2 weeks. That being said, you'll need to have your branding and professional photos ready to go, as well as enough time to complete your website copy using the provided templates.

    I recommend putting aside at least 3 days to complete your website copy. Some people can write much faster, but this allows for plenty of time in the writing process (it's tricky for some people!).

  • As stated above, Ashley will request your branding, professional photos, and website copy one week before your scheduled design week. You'll be sent a secure hub to upload everything to.

    Ashley will be giving you updates at the end of each day as to what was completed. Here's an example of how the week looks like on her end:

    Monday

    Template is installed, all styles, colours, and fonts are changed to match your branding, all copywriting is inserted into the website template.

    Tuesday

    All images and photos are changed out to your own, and all links are set up to ensure they point to the correct pages.

    By the end of this day, you'll receive your first draft of your website so you can review it and provide specific feedback.

    Wednesday

    Wishlist customizations are completed by Ashley, who has the ability to add numerous advanced features to your website. You'll be asked what dream customizations you'd like at the beginning of the process, and Ashley will try her best to make some of them happen!

    Thursday

    Miscellaneous design day so Ashley can catch up on any required work that hasn't been completed yet.

    Friday

    Finished website presentation, along with a backend website walkthrough. After final payment is received, Ashley will connect your domain and it's time to pop a bottle of bubbly and celebrate your shiny new website!

    Ashley may have a few questions for you throughout the week. If she does, they'll be added to your secure design hub (the same place where your daily progress will be updated) and you'll be tagged on them so that you're aware she needs your answers or feedback.

    However, due to the nature of the design hub, she shouldn't have too many questions throughout the week, and you can just sit back, relax, and wait until the website of your dreams is unveiled on Friday!
