Leah Harrigan, founder of Career CoPilot Inc., came to me after having a “Coming Soon” landing page up on her website for 2 years. She was getting ready to relaunch her business after having a baby and wanted a website to show prospective clients how much expertise she has from working in HR and recruiting for 15 years. Leah knows what she’s doing, she just needed something more polished to show everyone else that!
She wanted her new website published ASAP but also wanted to keep the budget in check so I proposed a One Week Website to her.
For my One Week Website service I customize an existing website template with the client’s colours, photos, logos, fonts and copy, and I do it all in one week, Monday to Friday. We used Leah’s existing logo, brand colours, and photos and added in more on-brand stock photos to fill out the Zoë template (finding that just right shade of teal proved to be not easy but we did it).
Leah was worried about writing her copy herself, but with the help of the copy template that I provide plus her putting all her thoughts about her business and vision into a big “brain dump” document, we had lots to go from to make her website sound as professional as possible while still feeling warm and approachable like Leah!
