You know you want all your Instagram posts, e-books, lead magnets, and webinar slides to look professional and perfectly branded, but you’re a) not a graphic designer; and b) don’t want to spend loads of time and energy on every thing you share in public. Well, great news, there’s done-for-you templates that will save you hours of time, and they can easily be edited and changed in Canva (no professional design software or skills required!).

Note: while I taught myself Photoshop, and most professional graphic designers use it or other programs like Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, sometimes I prefer Canva for smaller projects like Instagram posts because it takes way less time to make changes to a done-for-you template! Don’t let any design professionals guilt or shame you into using expensive software when Canva gets it done faster and cheaper.

All of the templates I’m introducing below are from Creative Market, and if you don’t know about this website, I’m sorry for the addiction I’m about to create.

I use Creative Market extensively, especially for fonts for my brand, but also for textures and patterns, animated Instagram stories that I’ve used for launches, e-books, stock photos, Pinterest pin templates, website icons, and mockup images.

Need something design related for your business? Chances are Creative Market has it.

The one thing to keep in mind with Creative Market is to check the license type details to make sure you purchase the correct one for your business and the way you’re going to use these templates. Most likely you’ll purchase and use the Commercial licence, but keep this in mind before you purchase. You’ll find details of each license type right above the section where you choose the version you’d like to purchase.

Also note that the licenses are different when you’re purchasing fonts, so always check before you buy.

Here’s a list of my favourite done-for-you templates that will save you hours of time in your wellness business:

1. Instagram post templates

This is one of my favourite things to purchase on Creative Market, because creating interesting and shareable Instagram posts takes so. much. time. Or maybe I’m just a perfectionist. Maybe both.

Either way, you could re-create most of these post templates by yourself in Canva Pro, especially because there’s so many cool elements you can add. However, finding all those cool elements takes hours (believe me, I’ve done it), and if you charge even $50 an hour, you’re losing hundreds of dollars combing through the Canva catalogue to make these yourself.

Instead of wasting time making Instagram posts, put that time into finding new clients that can make you way more money than what these templates cost.

Remember that in all these templates, everything you see is customizable. If you don’t like the colours or fonts, no worries, you can change them! Pay attention to the kinds of content the template contains (i.e. graphs, charts, quotes, etc), and ask yourself if creating those kinds of posts are a pain point in your business. If yes, these templates might just be a dream solution for you!

Here are my favourite Instagram posts templates:

  1. Instagram Educational Posts Pack by My Social Boutique - 50 square Instagram post templates that contain charts, lists, tables, graphs, roadmaps, Twitter posts, question and notification boxes, and a Venn diagram. It also includes a bonus of 30+ content prompts for the captions. Sweet!

  2. Charts and Graphs Social Kit by Sparrow & Snow - 70 templates in 2 different sizes (square Instagram posts and elongated Instagram Stories) that contain Venn diagrams, circular graphs, pie charts, bar graphs, quiz and question boxes, notification pop-ups, word search, and quote templates.

I’ve personally used these templates (shown below) and LOVE them. They’re also customizable in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD if you use more advanced programs.

3. Canva Instagram for Thought Leaders by Productive and Free - 50 templates in 3 different sizes (square and portrait sized Instagram posts and elongated Instagram Stories) that contain quotes, lists, this or that, Venn diagrams, triangle and wagon wheel graphs, word scramble, word searches, and bingo posts, along with trendy posts like reminder boxes, Twitter posts, definitions, and question boxes.

This template collection doesn’t look at sexy as the other two, since it’s in shown in black, grey, and white, but again, all of those can be customized to your own brand colours.

4. Wellness Instagram Creator by Eviory - 240 Instagram posts and Instagram Story templates for Canva and Photoshop. This template pack has incredible value for money, and it includes posts for natural remedies, charts, reminders, quiz and games, course promotion, carousel posts (great for sharing blog posts!), podcasts, testimonials, tips, and more.

2. E-books & content upgrade templates

Creating a beautiful e-book or lead magnet from scratch can feel daunting. Not only do you have to write all the words, but you have to make it look beautiful, too? Kill me now.

While I don’t always recommend writing entire e-books in Canva because Adobe InDesign is a much better program for this, that would involve learning an entirely new piece of software. No, thank you!

I buy workbook templates on Creative Market and use them for full e-books or bigger lead magnets, but then I split them apart and use 2 or 3 pages as my smaller content upgrades for blog posts.

If you work with an assistant, you could also write the content for the e-book or lead magnet in Google Docs, and then have them do the finicky work (that makes you want to throw your laptop out the window sometimes) of moving it into the Canva template, along with adding the images.

Here are my favourite e-book templates, plus how I’ve used them:

  1. E-book Template Canva by Productive and Free - contains 21 page templates, including 3 cover pages, about the author, copyright page, table of contents, 3 chapter intro pages, 11 different content pages, and a call-to-action page.

I’ve used this template to create a green cleaning guide for my essential oil team, as well as the information booklet for anyone who applies for my Get Paid program.

2. Kayla Marie e-book Template by Mirazz - a 40 page ebook template including 3 cover page options, and pages for chapter intros, tips and resources, picture layouts, and call-to-actions. It’s customizable in both Canva and Adobe InDesign.

This template will match your style if you’re already using abstract shapes and and textures in your brand.

3. Wellness Workbook & eBook Templates by Your Sunday Studio - a 140 page workbook template specifically designed for health & wellness coaches, bloggers, entrepreneurs, fitness professionals, therapists, yoga and meditation facilitators.

It includes different page options for covers, plus pages for meet the coaches, text only, success stories and testimonials, Q&A, various lists and planners, habit trackers, workout plan, and tons of recipe pages, to name a few.

You could make your own digital recipe book super easily from this template, so it’s the ultimate template pack.

4. Soulpreneur Multi-purpose eBook Template for Canva by Studio Loire - contains 36 page templates, including 3 cover pages, 2 table of contents, 4 chapter intro pages, 8 different content pages, 4 recipe pages, 3 quote pages, and 4 call-to-action/thank you pages.

This template is simple but feminine, with curved shapes that you can change the colours of, as well as lots of frames for you to add your own photos or stock images.

I haven’t purchased this specific template, but another one by Studio Loire that also has a minimalistic, luxury feel to it.

I used the 90 page Workbook Creator for Coaches template to create a fictional digital cookbook opt-in for the website template for my Brand, Build, Blog program (all images are free from Unsplash):

3. Other lead magnets

The templates above are perfect for longer lead magnets like full e-books, but what about challenges where there aren’t pages and pages of writing, but other templates like checklists and progress reports would work much better?

Creating checklists can be so annoying to get lined up perfectly in Canva. No worries, I’ve got you covered!

Here are my favourite challenge lead magnet templates from Creative Market:

  1. Wellness Coach Lead Magnet Builder by Brand Spanking You - not only does this Canva optimized kit include the actual lead magnet page templates, but also some amazing marketing and promotion templates, too. Remember, it’s not about creating a beautiful lead magnet, you’ve got to market it to start getting those email addresses!

Page templates include covers, intro, giveaway, shopping list/cheatsheet/checklists, recipes, daily challenge or topic pages, food, fitness, and habit trackers, Q&A, cross promotion, testimonials, and notes pages.

  2. 30 Day Challenge Lead Magnet Bundle by Productive and Free - it’s no secret that in the past, my 30 Day Calm Mom Challenge was my most successful lead magnet ever in my health business, bringing in over 2,000 women in less than month with no ads. However, setting up that challenge took for.e.ver.

This 30 day challenge lead magnet template that’s fully editable in Canva would have helped immensely! It also includes marketing image templates, which are the secret sauce to making your lead magnet successful.

Page templates include covers, giveaway info, master checklist, before & after assessment, goal setting worksheet, 30 action items checklist AND calendar, weekly printable planner, weekly prompts, and a call-to-action.

Productive and Free also has templates for a 7 day challenge and 5 day challenge.

  3. Wellness Challenge Creator (3, 7, 14 and 21 days) by Studio Loire - this 30 page template was created specifically for coaches who specialize in wellbeing, mental health, yoga, fitness, health, and personal growth. It’s edited in Canva, and fits perfectly with the e-book mentioned above by the same company.

The one drawback of this template is that it doesn’t include marketing image templates, although you can buy them separately by clicking here.

Page templates include covers, intros, challenge outline and daily prompt pages (for challenges from 3 to 21 days in length), pre-assessments, challenge trackers, worksheets, quotes, post challenge reflection questionnaires, and call-to-action and giveaway pages.

4. Slide decks

I’m not sure if you’ve created a full slide deck for an hour long webinar with a pitch at the end, but trust me when I say creating a beautiful slide deck that oozes luxury and will lead people to invest in your paid offerings on autopilot can take days (if not weeks) to create.

Granted, when I created my last evergreen webinar, it had 112 slides and I also wrote out the entire script of what I’d say during each slide (to keep me on track) … still, I work pretty fast and I don’t want you taking weeks to create a Powerpoint presentation!

You might also be using slide decks to create videos for an online course, and anything you can do to speed up course creation is time you can instead spend marketing it and getting new students.

Here are my favourite slide deck templates from Creative Market:

  1. Kayla Webinar Course Slide Deck Template by Mirazz - a 75 slide template package that is editable in both Canva and InDesign that includes various slide designs for covers, quotes/testimonials, checklists, teaching slides, action plans, about your program, and call to action slides to check out your paid offering.

This slide deck matches the Kayla e-book template listed above, so if you’re using that one, using this slide deck will keep your branding and design consistent.

If your branding is slightly different, there’s an alternate design version identical in layout and features by the same creator, click here to check it out.

  2. Webinar Slide Deck by Ralony - a 30 slide template package that is editable in Canva, this template is clean, light, and airy, and doesn’t include any extra information you don’t need. This is perfect for you if you don’t want to deal lots of design options and just want to get your information up on the slides OR your branding includes lots of white, classic fonts, and not a lot of textures.

This deck includes slides for overview, “you’re in the right/wrong place”, quotes, testimonials/case studies, teaching content and diagrams, offer introduction, bonuses, and payment plans.

  3. Webinar Slide Deck by Your Sunday Studio - a 50 slide template package that is editable in Canva and Keynote (for Mac), this template is full of colour, textures, and photos.

This deck includes slides for covers, about me, webinar agenda, “this webinar is for you/not for you”, step-by-step guides, written content/teaching slides, quotes/testimonials/case studies, recap, paid offering outline, program pricing, Q&A, and goodbye slides, not to name them all.

  4. Webinar + Course Canva Slide Deck by Studio Loire - a 2-in-1 webinar AND online course slide deck template, this package includes 99 slides and is editable in Canva.

If you liked the cookbook e-book example from above, this is the matching slide deck template! Make your life easier and just get both OR you could also include the matching social media bundle (100 templates), and get all 3 for 30% off by clicking here.

This deck includes slides for webinar cover, welcome and introductions, webinar AND online course outline, module cover slides, teaching slides, diagrams, quotes and testimonials, success stories, FAQ’s, fast action bonus, pricing guides, and call to action slides.

I really hope that the above templates save you massive loads of time. It’s 2020 when I’m writing this, and you might be working with kids underfoot all day, everyday. Or, like me, you might be adjusting to a new school schedule for our son that involves 2 hours of driving and me stopping work at 3 pm (leaving maybe 5.5 hours of productive work time). From someone who has previously worked overtime whenever she could, this is a profound, and probably much needed, change.

Even if we weren’t in a global pandemic right now, you’d still need all the help you can get, right?

So why not make it easier on yourself. Use a beautiful, pre-made template, and save all your mental energy for your zone of genius … and getting your kids more snacks.
